About the department 

BSP is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst based in Poznan, Poland, to support Investment Risk reporting, analytics, data quality and process improvement across BSP investment strategies. The role is primarily data and reporting focused, with an Investment Risk orientation. The successful candidate will support recurring and ad hoc reporting, data validation, workflow automation, dashboard development and stakeholder analysis using data sourced from multiple internal and external systems. The role will partner closely with the Investment Risk team in London, as well as Fund Finance, Compliance, Technology, Portfolio Analytics, Fund Managers and external service providers. This position reports to the Executive Director of Investment Risk in London. 


How you will add value 

Core Responsibilities 
• You will produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc Investment Risk reports. 
• You will maintain reporting processes and associated controls. 
• You will extract, transform, reconcile and validate risk-related data. 
• You will investigate data discrepancies and communicate resolutions. 
• You will support ad hoc analyses and portfolio-level reporting. 

Strategic Responsibilities 
• You will develop and automate data workflows using reporting tools. 
• You will create and enhance Tableau dashboards and analytics outputs. 
• You will identify reporting and data quality improvements using AI including Codex. 

Team & Collaboration 
• You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve reporting issues. 
• You will document procedures, controls and process maps. 

What will help you be successful in this role 

Experience, Education & Certifications 
• 3+ years of experience in data and reporting, fund operations, portfolio analytics or related roles. 
• Experience reconciling and validating data from multiple systems. 
• Some experience in finance, including accountancy, private credit, loans, bonds and related instruments. 
• Familiarity with portfolio management, risk or fund accounting systems. 

Technical Skills 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL. 
• Experience with Python, Alteryx, KNIME and Tableau. 
• Experience building data workflows and dashboards. 

Soft Skills 
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. 
• Ability to communicate effectively across geographies and time zones. 
• Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines. 
• Curiosity and initiative to improve processes and automate tasks. 
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills. 
• Team player with relationship-building skills.
