Roloverzicht

De Data & Analytics Specialist werkt nauw samen met het Business Optimization Team, gevestigd op het kantoor in Baarn en verantwoordelijk voor alle Europese locaties. Dit team versterkt de business door oplossingen te implementeren met behulp van technologie, data en procesoptimalisaties. De functie ondersteunt de primaire operatie met rapportage-, workflow- en automatiseringsverzoeken of -verbeteringen. Cerberus werkt volledig binnen het Microsoft-ecosysteem en de meeste oplossingen worden gebouwd met Microsoft-tools en -diensten.

Deze rol vraagt om een technisch sterke, proactieve en klantgerichte professional, die oplossingsgericht werkt en goed functioneert binnen een wereldwijd team in een dynamische en snelle omgeving. Je werkt daarnaast nauw samen met andere developers en IT-specialisten in de VS en het VK.

Jouw Rol & Impact

• Business Collaboration – Samenwerken met business teams om processen en data te begrijpen en automatiseringskansen te identificeren. Het leiden van requirements-sessies, het ontwikkelen van proof-of-concepts voor innovatieve oplossingen en gebruikers trainen om succesvolle adoptie te waarborgen.

• Development & Delivery – Het ontwerpen van Power BI-datamodellen en interactieve visualisaties. Samenwerken met data engineering om SQL-views te bouwen en datatoegang te garanderen. Gebruik maken van Fabric notebooks/pipelines voor orkestratie, API-integratie en analyses. Het optimaliseren van legacy-rapportages met geavanceerde DAX en Power Query. Het bouwen van workflows met Power Automate en Microsoft Fabric.

• Agile & DevOps - Toepassen van agile-methodieken zoals sprint planning en retrospectives. Het gebruik van versiebeheer via Git en Azure DevOps.

• AI-Powered Development – Inzetten van AI-tools (Azure AI Foundry, MCP agents) om taken te automatiseren en delivery te versnellen. Het toepassen van agentische workflows voor verhoogde productiviteit.

• Quality & Support – Werken volgens Power BI/Fabric best practices voor een stabiele en schaalbare omgeving. Het documenteren van technische requirements en specificaties. Ondersteunen van UAT en trainen van niet-technische gebruikers. Het onderhoud van bestaande Power BI-oplossingen.

Vaardigheden en Kwalificaties

Vereiste kwalificaties:

• 4–6 jaar relevante ervaring als BI Developer of Data Analyst, met Power BI als primaire tool.

• Expertise in het schrijven van DAX-expressies voor calculated tables, calculated columns en measures; vaardigheid in het schrijven en formatteren van complexe DAX-formules.

• Gedegen kennis van dimensioneel modelleren en relationele databases in enterprise data warehouse-omgevingen.

• Diepgaande kennis van Power BI Desktop, Report Builder, Power BI Service, Fabric Dataflows/Pipelines en Fabric Notebooks.

• Ervaring met het schrijven van SQL-queries in een SQL Server-omgeving.

• Begrip van Row-Level Security en Incremental Refresh binnen Power BI en SQL Server.

• Vermogen om AI-agents te ontwerpen en implementeren die repetitieve ontwikkeltaken automatiseren, zoals codegeneratie, testen, documentatie en datakwaliteitscontroles.

• Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden; in staat om effectief te communiceren met niet-technische gebruikers.

• Sterke interpersoonlijke en organisatorische vaardigheden.

• Sterke affiniteit met financiële rapportages, inclusief begrip van balansen, winst- en verliesrekeningen, cashflow en kernprocessen binnen finance.

• Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Computer Science of een vergelijkbare richting.

Gewenste kwalificaties:

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate is een sterke pré.

• Basiskennis van Power BI-beheer op tenant-niveau.

• Python-vaardigheden zijn een pluspunt.

• Ervaring binnen Financial Services, met name Capital Markets of Asset Management, is een voordeel.

Locatie en Werktijden

Minimaal drie dagen per week aanwezigheid op kantoor. De functie is gevestigd op het kantoor in Baarn, Nederland.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden 

• De functie is voor 40 uur per week

• Salarisindicatie EUR 70.000 – EUR 90.000 bruto per jaar (afhankelijk van relevante werkervaring) plus bonus (circa 15%)

• Naast je brutoloon zal er een vergoeding zijn voor reiskosten (EUR 0,23/km), thuiswerken (EUR 2,45/d) en een netto onkostenvergoeding op basis van functieniveau (EUR 1,200 per jaar)

• 25 vakantiedagen

• Arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering voor rekening werkgever

• Bijdrage pensioen (8%), nabestaandenpensioen en ANW-Hiaat voor rekening werkgever

• In aanvang een jaarcontract

• Deelname aan persoonlijke investeringen is onderhevig aan beperkingen

Role Summary

The Data & Analytics Specialist will be working closely with the Business Optimization Team which is a team based in the Baarn office and responsible for all offices in Europe. This team advances the business through the implementation of solution sets using a combination of technology, data and process changes. The role will supporting primary operations with reporting, workflow or automation requests/enhancements. Cerberus operates in Microsoft eco-system and most of the solutions are build using Microsoft tools and offerings.

The role needs a technical, proactive and customer focused individual who is solution-orientated and works well as part of a global team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. In the role you will also work closely with other developers and IT specialist who are in USA and UK.

Your Role & Impact

• Business Collaboration - Partner with business teams to understand processes, data and identify automation opportunities. Lead requirement gathering sessions, develop proof-of-concepts for innovative solutions and deliver user training to ensure successful adoption.

• Development & Delivery - Design Power BI data models and interactive visualizations. Collaborate with data engineering to create SQL views and ensure data availability. Use Fabric notebooks/pipelines for orchestration, API integration, and analysis. Optimize legacy reports with advanced DAX and Power Query. Build workflows using Power Automate and Microsoft Fabric

• Agile & DevOps - Apply agile methodologies including sprint planning and retrospectives. Manage version control using Git and Azure DevOps.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 4 - 6 years of dedicated experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst, with Power BI as the primary tool.

• Expertise in authoring DAX expressions to create calculated tables, calculated columns, and measures, as well as the ability to write and format complex DAX formulas to model objects, constants, and variables.

• Expert understanding of dimensional modelling, relational data bases in enterprise data warehouse environments.

• In-depth knowledge of using Power BI Desktop, Report Builder, the Power BI Service, Fabric Dataflow/Pipeline and Fabric Notebook.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries in a SQL Server environment.

• Understanding of Row-Level Security and Incremental Refresh in context of Power BI and SQL Server.

• Ability to design and implement AI agents that automate repetitive development tasks, such as code generation, testing, documentation, and data quality checks.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with non-technical business users.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Strong inclination towards financial reporting with understanding of balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow, and core finance processes

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, or similar field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate strongly desired.

• Knowledge of basic Power BI administration at the tenant settings.

• Python skills are a plus.

• Knowledge of the Financial Services, especially Capital Markets and Asset Management experience is a plus.

Location and Hours

In-office presence required for at least three days a week. The role is based in the Baarn office, the Netherlands.

Employment Condition

• The position is for 40 hours per week

• Salary range: EUR 70,000 – EUR 90,000 gross per year, depending on relevant experience, plus a bonus of approximately 15%

• In addition to the gross salary, the employee is entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses (EUR 0.23 per kilometer), a working-from-home allowance (EUR 2.45 per day), and a net expense allowance based on job level (EUR 1,200 per year)

• 25 vacation days per year

• Disability insurance fully paid by the employer

• Employer-paid pension contribution (8%), including survivor’s pension and ANW gap insurance

• The employment contract will initially be entered into for a fixed term of one year

• Restrictions apply with regard to personal investments
