The Opportunity:
The Data Analytics Specialist will provide a managed service to help customers gain deeper insights into their business operations and guide them toward data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead, this role involves analyzing data, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that align with customer goals. The Data Analytics Specialist will support customers by translating complex datasets into clear, meaningful reports and visualizations, ensuring data quality and promoting best practices in data-driven strategies. This position is remote based at our headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze customer datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop dashboards and custom reports to monitor performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
    • Work closely with customers to define KPIs and metrics that align with their business goals.
  • Data Visualization
    • Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate data insights effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Ensure visualizations are tailored to the specific needs and expertise of each customer.
    • Continuously improve reporting tools and techniques to enhance clarity and usability.
  • Collaboration with Business Intelligence
    • Partner with the Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead to ensure alignment with organizational and customer objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support data-driven projects, ensuring consistent standards and methodologies.
    • Work with customers to identify and address gaps in their data strategies.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of customer data through consistent quality checks and adherence to best practices.
    • Promote data governance principles, helping customers implement policies that maintain data quality.
    • Assist in troubleshooting data issues and delivering timely resolutions.
  • Customer Engagement & Support
    • Provide insights and recommendations that help customers make informed decisions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring they fully understand and utilize their data assets.
    • Offer training and resources to customers, helping them build their internal data capabilities.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or visualization roles.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo) and analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Strong understanding of data governance and quality assurance best practices.
  • Ability to use AI to increase efficiency and output.
  • Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to define and meet their data needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP platforms, and other business intelligence tools is a plus.


Compensation: $95,000 - $145,000
