Data & Analytics Intern
This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company.
Job Summary
The Data & Analytics Intern's goal is to understand day-to-day operations within the SERVPRO organization. Through interning with our Data & Analytics team, the intern will obtain an understanding of business drivers and industry trends. The Data & Analytics Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in business data analysis, data visualization, and data management. The Data & Analytics Intern will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to their growth and development.
You will
- Participate in weekly intern activies as scheduled and assigned.
- Attend team meetings and department events.
- Shadow experienced employees to learn business operations.
- Assist with department projects and initiatives.
- Analyze data and prepare reports.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special projects assigned by supervisors.
You have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Early-stage proficiency in PowerBI or Tableau data visualization.
- Working knowledge of databases and writing SQL.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and creative mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Python, R and SQL is preferred.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Applied AI or a related field.
