The GBS Data Analytics Developer will support data-driven decision-making across Global Business Services (GBS) by developing and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and reporting solutions.
The role will focus on developing Power BI dashboards, semantic models, data models, reporting datasets, and analytical solutions that transform enterprise data into actionable business insights. The individual will work closely with global business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs, and translate business requirements into effective and scalable BI solutions.
As a member of the GBS Shared Services organization, the Data Analytics Developer will support global teams and workstreams, including Order to Cash (OTC), Record to Report (RTR), Procure to Pay (PTP), Customer Care, and other GBS functions. The role will contribute to improving reporting, operational performance, financial processes, and analytics capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models, Power BI semantic models, and reporting datasets by integrating, transforming, and validating data from multiple enterprise sources.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights and support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop reusable DAX measures, KPIs, and calculated columns, and optimize Power BI datasets, models, reports, and calculations for performance, scalability, accuracy, and usability.
- Use SQL to query, transform, reconcile, and validate enterprise datasets to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, define KPIs, understand business needs, and translate them into effective BI and analytics solutions.
- Partner with financial operations and other GBS teams to improve reporting and analytics processes, including supporting improvements to month-end close activities.
- Support and troubleshoot existing BI solutions, including data quality, reporting, performance, and access-related issues, to ensure reliable ongoing reporting.
- Contribute to BI standards, governance, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and user experience.
Background:
- 3 - 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or related areas, preferably within finance, technology, shared services, or consulting environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience and/or certifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams on BI, analytics, or reporting initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development, semantic modeling, data visualization, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX for data querying, transformation, validation, and development of measures, KPIs, and analytical calculations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, including the development of scalable semantic models and reporting datasets.
- Strong stakeholder communication and business understanding, with the ability to gather and clarify requirements, understand business processes, define relevant KPIs, and translate business needs into practical BI and analytics solutions.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, build productive working relationships, and navigate competing priorities across multiple teams and partners.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities, coordinate deliverables, and manage timelines and dependencies across BI and analytics initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality, accuracy, and detail.
- Demonstrated adaptability and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and effectively with colleagues, partners, and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Exposure to Python, AWS, or cloud-based data environments.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) or Alteryx.
