Job Summary
As a Vice President within the Fund Services Pre-NAV Data Analytics and Business Management team, you will lead initiatives and deliver outcomes across the Fund Services organization. You will drive the team’s Data Strategy objectives with a strong focus on execution, stakeholder management, and disciplined delivery. You will ensure analytics and reporting are delivered with strong controls, clear communication, and measurable impact, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic priorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate operational insights by analyzing process and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain reliable ETL workflows to support data ingestion, integration, and transformation across multiple sources.
- Develop, enhance, and manage dashboards and recurring reporting using Tableau and other BI tools, tailored to business and operations audiences.
- Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, validate, and analyze operational datasets to support analytics use cases.
- Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling timely and informed decision-making.
- Partner with operations, product, and technology teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Define requirements and drive delivery through partners where needed (e.g., technology/engineering), ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, controls, and quality.
- Embed appropriate controls and documentation into analytics and reporting processes to support operational excellence and data integrity.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with a track record of generating actionable business insights within financial services and/or operations environments.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting ETL workflows and tools (e.g., Alteryx).
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau and strong understanding of BI/reporting best practices (KPI design, usability, data quality checks).
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data extraction, analysis, automation, and reporting.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional, matrixed environments and delivering outcomes through influence.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex analyses clearly and concisely to senior audiences.
- Proven ability to translate analysis into operational improvements and measurable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with securities services operations and pre-NAV workflows/processes.
