THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Sales Analytics & BI Manager to join our Sales Operations team in Munich. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial decision-making. You won’t just be building dashboards—you will be the storyteller who translates complex data into actionable insights for our Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for someone who combines hands-on, get-things-done attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset, equally comfortable building a Power BI dashboard as well as shaping go-to-market strategic decisions. If you enjoy figuring out where a business should invest next, which customer segments are growing, and how we can scale smarter, this is the role for you.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Drive Strategic Decisions: Work directly with the Sales Operations Team Lead to provide the analytical backbone for GTM strategy. You will analyze performance data across sales channels, products, and territories—giving the GTM Leaders the insights needed to answer critical questions and strategic decisions.
  • Shape the BI Architecture: Serve as the in-house expert for Power BI and CRM systems. Using your commercial perspective, you will together with our technical team, define the requirements and provide precise direction on how to structure the data foundation, ensuring the final architecture is built to power real business decisions.
  • Build Actionable Sales Reports: Design and maintain core sales KPIs and reports, including performance tracking, bookings vs. revenue, actuals vs. forecasting, ROI analysis, ARR metrics, and so on. You will build the data models that allow the business to see where we stand today—and where we are going tomorrow.
  • Contribute to QBR Preparation: Support the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews, consolidating performance data across regions, products and segments into executive-ready materials. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy and narrative clarity in every QBR cycle.
  • Deliver Strategic Analysis: Go beyond reporting to conduct in-depth analyses of customer behaviour, product performance and segment trends. Your findings will directly inform investment decisions, product prioritization and commercial strategy at the leadership level.
  • Support Annual Planning & Long-Term Strategy: Contribute to the annual sales planning framework. Partner with Finance and Leadership to build scenario models that support long-term business strategy and improve planning accuracy.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

The ideal candidate brings a combination of analytical rigour, commercial curiosity, and hands-on execution capability. You will stand out if you can demonstrate:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency with Power BI or Tableau. A track record of turning complex datasets into decisions, not just reports
  • B2B SaaS Experience: You understand the rhythm of a subscription business. Experience owning an analytics or BI role end-to-end in a B2B environment (hardware, software or services)
  • Analytical Storytelling: You are comfortable taking raw numbers and turning them into a clear narrative for senior stakeholders. You can explain why something is happening, not just what is happening.
  • Strategic Mindset: The ability to operate at multiple altitudes, from building a data model to presenting a strategic recommendation to the leadership team. You connect data to business outcomes, challenge assumptions and proactive surface insights that others miss.
  • Entrepreneurship Spirit:  Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action in a fast-moving, scale-up environment
  • Communication Skills: You are fluent in English (native level) and can communicate complex ideas simply and are not shy to actively raise and prove your opinions in senior leadership settings. German language skills are a plus, as it helps to integrate with the local team and culture.
  • Location: You are based in or willing to relocate to Munich, ready to collaborate in person with the team.
