As an entry level Financial Research Analyst on our team, you will sit at the intersection of high finance and actionable intelligence. Your work—researching, structuring, and databasing critical financial data from publicly traded companies—serves as the backbone for investment professionals worldwide. In this fast-paced role, your commitment to precision and speed directly influences the global investment landscape. We are looking for a detail-oriented researcher who thrives in a collaborative environment but possesses the discipline to own their workflow independently.

This role reports to: Director, Data Management

This role is remote, based out of the US West Coast (California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Utilize proprietary software to annotate and structure SEC filings

  • Review public filings and press releases for financial disclosures and standardize, database and maintain the information

  • Collaborate with team members to establish reporting requirements and to ensure data integrity

  • Work on special projects throughout the year that help improve the breadth, depth, and accuracy of our data

  • As part of this role, there are periods of higher volume each quarter that require the ability to work beyond the standard 40 hours per week which is overtime eligible

Must have(s):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting required

  • A foundational understanding of stock market principles and a genuine interest in the investment landscape

  • Exceptional data entry accuracy with a "zero-error" mindset and a sharp eye for detail

  • Ability to prioritize high-volume tasks and manage multiple projects under tight market deadlines

  • A high degree of initiative and the ability to exercise independent judgment when navigating complex data

  • Ability to be flexible and work within a collaborative team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; thrives in both collaborative team settings and independent deep-work sessions

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) preferred

Salary Range: $45,000 USD - $50,000 USD

Skills Required

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or a related analytical field
