Position Overview:
We are looking for a Data/Reporting Analyst with strong analytics and data background from a business perspective. The ideal candidate will be able to gather and interpret requirements, create meaningful dashboards and reports, and effectively communicate with audiences of different technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Develop and successfully manage programs client through data collection, meetings with key client stakeholders, analysis, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and implementation of tools and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise deliverables for stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Utilize moderate to advanced SQL knowledge for data investigation, manipulation, and enrichment, especially in modern environments like Snowflake.
- Apply passing familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R in data environments.
Preferred Profile Types:
Experience with ThoughtSpot, Cognos and Oracle
Any skills working with Snowflake
Analytics consulting experience is highly preferred.
Experience in a Travel Management Company and would be a plus.
Less preference for profiles with a primary focus on data engineering, database administration, or architecture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong business perspective.
- Proficiency in ThoughtSpot, snowflake or other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical skills in data collection, data mining, and statistical modeling techniques
- Moderate experience with programming languages and tools such as [SQL, Python, R] and simple analytics tools such as [Excel]
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as [Tableau, Power BI, QlikView] to create compelling visualizations and reports
- Deep understanding of database concepts such as database structures, query languages, and data warehousing principles to keep the data warehouse organized
- Experience handling business intelligence tools such as [Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence, IBM Cognos] to extract and analyze data
