About the Role
Harman Ready Care is at the forefront of automotive in-cabin sensing. Our technology and solutions provide insights regarding driver and occupants in the cabin, powering critical safety applications as well as innovative in-cabin experiences. We are seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to help us glean insights from video data and formulate performance reports – internally and for customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing video data, identifying algorithm fail-points and opportunities for improvement, provide recommendations for configuration optimization and create performance reports for internal stakeholders and external customers. This position reports to Harman Ready Care Israel Product Manager.
What You Will Do
- Analyze video data to understand and define failure points, offering suggestions for improvements.
- Analyze output logs to assess algorithm performance and understand failure points.
- Fine-tune and tweak configurations in order to optimize algorithm performance based on the video analysis.
- Ensure the quality, validity and integrity of the analyzed video data.
- Write the final reports intended for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with multiple stakeholders within the organization – product management, project management, validation and algorithms developers.
- Participate in meetings with customers to present the reports, performance results and challenges.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Technical academic degree (e.g., BSc, Electrical Engineering).
- Hands-on coding experience is an advantage (e.g., Python, Matplotlib).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with video data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications – specifically with Excel.
