Job Summary
In the Data Analyst role, you will use data analytics to improve healthcare outcomes. This role will create and apply algorithms and master the reporting function for the company to ensure adherence to established protocol. This position will also be responsible for managing census, headcount and month end reporting functions.
Responsibilities Include
- Collecting, mining, and interpreting data from various sources.
- Develops algorithms to interpret data and adherence to company protocol.
- Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.
- Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to gather company-wide information and ensure accuracy.
- Conducts in-depth data analysis to identify trends.
- Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Fulfills weekly and monthly reporting as necessary.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical ability on various platforms. Experience in PowerBi, Phreesia or Azalea a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with reporting software.
- Understanding of database design and construction.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong understanding in healthcare data and medical terminology. Ability to read patient charts a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, required.
- At least 1 year post-graduate relevant work experience in Data Analytics, required, and 3 years preferred.
- At least 1 year in Healthcare industry experience required and 1 year in Healthcare Data Analytics preferred.
