Accurate, timely data and insightful analysis are vital to monitoring performance, driving efficiencies, and ensuring successful project delivery across this ambitious programme. As Data Analyst , you will transform raw data into clarity, supporting teams to make informed decisions and showcase impact.
What You Will Do
Data Collection & Quality
Identify and advise on data sources to enhance reporting and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with Performance Team members to clarify data requirements and recommend improvements in data capture.
Review existing data quality, highlight gaps or inconsistencies, and propose alternative sources or validation approaches.
Data Analysis
Serve as the data analysis expert within the Performance Team, driving deeper understanding of performance metrics.
Enhance and develop data analysis tools and methods, ensuring consistency and best practice across the team.
Translate complex datasets into clear insights that inform action and support continuous improvement.
Data Visualisation & Reporting
Design, build, modify, and manage dashboards and reports that present key performance indicators in an accessible way.
Advise on layout and functionality to maximise clarity and value for stakeholders across Programme Management, Planning, Delivery, Commercial, and beyond.
Lead migration of existing reports to preferred platforms (e.g. Power BI, Excel), ensuring robust governance, version control, and ease of use.

Foster a culture of safety: participate in induction, follow safe working practices, and report near misses.
Support Health & Safety procedures within your activities, ensuring all data work adheres to organisational policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement of H&S processes through audit feedback and collaborative initiatives.
Who You Are
Proven experience in data collection, quality review, and analysis.
Demonstrable experience building reports and dashboards.
A qualification in data analytics (Level 4 or equivalent) is advantageous but not mandatory if you can show relevant experience.
Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI or similar dashboard tools.
Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret data, spot trends, and draw clear conclusions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management: you can explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and accountable: you take ownership of your tasks and pursue continuous learning.
Familiarity with SQL or Databricks is desirable but not essential; willingness to develop these skills is key.
Keen to learn the business, understand its drivers, and align data work to strategic objectives.
