The Opportunity

This Data Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to healthcare innovation by ensuring accurate procedure and disease state mapping, enhancing reimbursement accuracy, and supporting prototype development. You'll gain hands-on experience in quality assurance, data analytics, and relational database architecture, while applying ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS coding knowledge. The role provides opportunities for professional growth through collaboration, process improvement, and education, while also fostering leadership and mentoring skills. With a focus on healthcare data privacy (HIPAA) and standardization, this position is ideal for individuals eager to drive efficiency, accuracy, and impact in the healthcare industry.

In this role you will:

  • Utilize Eon Vision and principles as a guidewire for all tasks and interactions
  • Collaborate in the execution of prototype builds from provided written documentation
  • Assist in performing Quality Assurance Testing process by accurately following written test plans to apply Right-the-First-Time approach to Product development.
  • Apply radiology and procedure coding/reimbursement knowledge to utilize procedure and disease state mapping libraries.
  • Seek, identify, document and present opportunities for standardization/harmonization. 
  • Provide general/specialty education, as related to mapping libraries utilization
  • Produce clean, easily understood written documentation.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned with accuracy and precision.
  • Seek opportunities to utilize a collaborative spirit to partner, educate and mentor others/and self.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
    • 5 years of related work experience
    • Understand and apply healthcare information privacy security (HIPPA) requirements
    • Knowledge in  ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code assignment and hierarchies
    • Computer Skillset: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite/Google Suite, experience in relational database architecture and build approach
    • Able to work independently, as well as on a multi-disciplinary project team
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
    • Dependable, reliable, responsible, dedicated, committed  to meet deadlines, deliver superior results and keep the focus on the customer and meeting their needs
    • Outstanding organizational, time-management, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required. Adaptable and open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and to work/propose solutions in ambiguous situations.
