Overview 

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in connecting business strategy with data-driven insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Operations, to analyze key metrics, interpret trends, and develop actionable recommendations that drive business growth. Beyond technical skills, we seek a candidate who can bridge the gap between data and decision-making, ensuring that insights translate into impactful business strategies.  

What You’ll Do:   

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses using statistical methods to answer business-critical questions.  
• Interpret and translate data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.  
• Define and own data processes, from event tracking and data collection to building structured datasets and dashboards.   
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights clearly and effectively.  
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other business units to identify data needs and align analytics efforts with company objectives.  
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through proactive auditing, validation, and monitoring.  
• Work with engineering and data teams to enhance data pipelines, implement tracking strategies, and optimize data models.  

What You Bring:   

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).  
• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.  
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in statistical methods and hypothesis testing.  
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.  
• Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.  
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  
• Strong business acumen with a problem-solving mindset to drive data-backed decisions.  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in web analytics and understanding of website performance metrics.  
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure).   
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for data visualization.  
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or other big data processing platforms.   
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and marketing analytics.

This role is open to candidates based in Portugal. Business hours are 9-18 WEST (UTC+1). For candidates based in the Lisbon area, this role will transition to a hybrid model, requiring in-person presence. For candidates located outside the Lisbon area in Portugal, a different cadence of in-person presence may apply, depending on proximity.
