Role:
Strike is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join a fast-growing bitcoin company. Must have demonstrated experience deriving insights and solving complex problems with data. You should also thrive working in an ambitious startup environment and be excited about Strike’s mission and potential.
Responsibilities:
- Finds solutions for complex problems using data from internal and external sources
- Drives actionable insights to various stakeholders to aid strategic decisions for improvements across product and operations
- Identifies product and operational weaknesses and helps innovate new processes to promote efficiencies
- Create scheduled reports using BI and product analytics tooling
- Resourcefulness, pragmatism and roll-up the sleeves mentality
- Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Able to balance both short term and long term initiatives
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in data analytics or related field, preferably in a startup environment
- Deep knowledge of SQL for deep ad hoc analyses as well as routine reporting
- Basic understanding of the Bitcoin protocol, including how the blockchain and mempool work
- Skilled storyteller with ability to present analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Creative thinking blended with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional qualifications:
- Knowledge of data modeling using structured tooling such as DBT is a plus
- Experience with BigQuery preferred
- Product Analytics experience, e.g. with Amplitude or Mixpanel
- Knowledge of A/B testing and product experimentation
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks, Python or R desired
US-Based Positions:
- Salary range: $130-$175K - The actual salary will be determined using location and experience based data.
