Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data visualization
- Experience working in an insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Key responsibility
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key business metrics.
- Create and optimize data models in Power BI to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and business, to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts and other team members on best practices in data analysis and Power BI usage.
