We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Hyderabad team and work on large-scale data platforms, analytics, data quality, and business-critical data products.
Role SummaryAs a Data Analyst, you will work closely with engineering, business, and cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, develop data workflows, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights. You will leverage SQL and Databricks to support data analysis, validation, reporting, automation, and production data workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries and data workflows within Databricks.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and support successful execution of production data workflows and resolve data-related issues.
- Build and maintain data quality dashboards and reporting to track data health and business metrics.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, and integrity standards.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, vendors, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Communicate workflow results, project status, data issues, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide meaningful, actionable insights.
- Develop a strong understanding of business data, data attributes, relationships, and underlying data structures.
- Recommend improvements to data management, reporting, analytics, and quality processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Experience working with large-scale data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data environments.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data quality, data validation, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with AWS-based data solutions.
