Data Analyst- Sr Level

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior level Data Analyst to join our Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

This is a 100% on-site, full-time position at the William J Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

TFDM is the surface management solution for the FAA’s Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). With growing congestion on the airport surface due to the increase in commercial air traffic nationwide, the need for efficient aircraft traffic planning on the airport ground is critical. TFDM will be:

• Modernizing the air traffic control tower equipment by improving the exchange of electronic flight data and implementing electronic flight strips in the tower.
• Streamlining the flow of departures on the surface to save fuel and reduce CO2 emissions.
• Optimizing the experience for the flying public, Air Traffic Control (ATC), and the airline industry by improving the collaboration and decision-making capabilities between the gate and the tower.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assignments on a broad range of tasks associated with the implementation of standards techniques, procedures, and criteria as they apply to technical tasks.
• Develop new technology, modifies the structure of existing software products, and provides technical guidance to complex projects. Reviews final draft documents for conformity to requirements and completeness.
• Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
• Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings.
• Report issues and problems and recommend solutions. Performs other related duties in line with tasks assignments.
• Software requirements analysis, design, design reviews, development, software testing, integration, installation, and maintenance of complex computer systems.
• Software programming in the languages used for the National Airspace System (NAS) and NAS support systems. This includes languages such as Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Tableau.
• Some travel may be required.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and 15-25 years relevant experience.

Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.

The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition, compensation may be influenced by applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and established contract wage rates.
