The Data Analyst occupies an essential role within our data-driven organization, collaborating with product, tech, and marketing teams while reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead. The primary purpose of this role is to support stakeholders in making informed decisions by proactively identifying challenges and opportunities through data analysis, leading to tangible and positive impacts on the business.
What you will do:
- Proactively contribute ideas to improve business performance.
- Proactively contribute to improve team workflow, processes, tools, etc.
- Aid stakeholders in crafting well-informed decisions.
- Maintain data availability and improve data utilization.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and ensure data quality.
- If asked, mentor junior team members
Utilize statistical methods and data visualization to identify trends and provide data interpretations.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
Suggest and evaluate product experiments.
Suggest, define and monitor impactful KPIs.
Identify relevant data and ensure availability.
Give data driven recommendations.
Design, develop, and maintain data models and databases.
Extract, transform, and load data for analysis.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and Tableau
- Knowledge in R, Jupyter, or similar tools is beneficial
- Strong understanding of databases, data modelling and data integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with git, docker, or dbt is desirable.
- Background or familiarity in Data Science projects (ML, pattern recognition, forecasting, fraud detection, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in the AdTech industry or in mobile app analytics is a plus.
