Job Description

As Finance Systems Analyst, you will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment at the interface between IT and Finance. As part of the Finance & HR Systems team you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing master data, maintaining our financial systems and ultimately improving and automating crucial data processes across our organization. You will also have the opportunity to work on various projects in the areas of consolidation, planning and reporting and take on responsibility. 

Key Responsibilities:

You will gradually take on various tasks in our finance systems environment with increasing complexity:

• Understand and maintain key financial concepts, ensuring our master data remains accurate. You will become a central point of contact for our stakeholders in Finance and HR

• Play an essential role in managing and supporting our key financial systems (Jedox, LucaNet)

• Act as a central point of contact to ensure data consistency and integration across various financial applications.

• Help develop and implement automations leveraging different tools (e.g. Workato, Google Cloud Platforms) to optimize processes, reduce manual tasks and ensure reliable, high-quality data

• Contribute to the further development of our Data Hubs in Snowflake, designing and maintaining new data sets

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis and management

• Foundational skills in SQL for data manipulation and querying

• Analytical thinking, Interest in Business Analysis

• Attention to details and critical evaluation of information

• Keen interest in improving processes, automating tasks and learning new technologies

• Strong interest in financial processes and reporting

• Business Information Systems or similar faculty graduate

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)

• Experience or willingness to learn about scripting/programming for process automation (e.g., Python).

• Understanding of business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

• Basic knowledge of data workflows and orchestration tools (e.g., Workato) is a plus.
