• Lead the Requirement Gathering & Brainstorming discussions with Product owner, Enterprise, and Business architects.
• Be responsible for gathering and understanding of business needs and translating them into effective stories/requirements.
• Mange the project approach, building stakeholder relationship, take buy-in for the project plan, commitments, and changes.
• Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, functional and non-functional requirements into clear documentation.
• Assess the feasibility, opportunities, risks and impact of various solution options.
• Support Technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget.
• Drive the User acceptance testing and end to end solution validation.
• Define the Test cases/scenarios based on given requirements to validate the solution being implemented to address that requirement.
• Work with the Technology team and Product Owners to drive improvements in productivity through backlog management, maturity in the use of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean), and corresponding management of dependencies
• Manage, monitor, and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the program management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Make recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• 7+ years of working experience in corporate IT and at least 4 years of experience in a functional BA role in a large Data warehouse or Data engineering application.
• Banking/Finance Domain Knowledge preferable Wealth and Private bank domain experience.
• Technical stack – Excel, SQL, GCP-Big Query, Preferred - Scripting knowledge – Python, Unix script.
• Documentation Tools – Confluence, Jira, Visio/Draw
• Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skill
• Having Data governance, Data quality controls design & Data modelling experience preferred.
• Agile ways of working – Able to create User Stories in JIRA, Facilitate Discussions with Business and Technical team.
• Other good to have skills – Cloud technology awareness- GCP/AWS, IT deployment & operation awareness.
• Bachelor / master’s degree
