As a Data Analysis Intern, you will work with our analytics team to analyze player behavior, game performance, and business metrics.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to player behavior, game performance, and monetization.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support A/B testing initiatives to optimize game features and player experiences. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and insights.
Work with SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases.
Collaborate with game designers, developers, and marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
Document findings and present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Additional responsibilities:
Maintain and regularly update ongoing market research, including tracking upcoming game releases, trending titles, wishlists, and major industry events and conferences.
Monitor competitor marketing campaigns and deliver periodic benchmarks and reports to support studio decision-making.
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Familiarity with SQL and ability to query large datasets.
Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis.
Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passion for video games and understanding of player behavior. Ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools. Understanding of A/B testing and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of game industry KPIs (e.g., DAU, MAU, ARPU, Retention Rates).
Some exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
