Role: Data & AI QA Engineer

Job location: remote/ flex from Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow or Gdansk

The successful candidate will work within Data & AI practice and will be mainly responsible for testing (both manual and automation) of a new solution delivered to one of our international customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Participating in the project as a member of a Testing Team
• Utilizing DXC testing methodology, analyzing testing requirements as the basis for developing testing scenarios for a test level to be executed on a project
• Designing testing scenarios and test cases/ test scripts that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications
• Executing tasks related to the creation of Test Plan, test cases, test scripts, and test data; analyzing results of the testing process and recommending solutions
• Interacting with the project team to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria
• Understanding and using appropriate Test Automation processes and tools
• Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Supporting knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as Software Testing Engineer, at least 1 year of them in Automation Testing (knowledge and experience in Python)
• Solid understanding of testing process and deliverables
• Familiarity with data migration and backend testing
• Experience in Test Management tools (JIRA/ AzDO/ ALM)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in API Testing Automation tools (Postman/ SoapUI/ Apache JMeter)
• Experience in Test Automation tools and frameworks (Robot Framework/ Cucumber/ Rest Assured/ Selenium)
• SQL skills (Oracle/ MariaDB/ MySQL/ MSSQL/ PostgreSQL)
• LINUX experience (experienced in using shell commands and navigating on the shell; no admin skills required)
• Very good written and spoken English
• Solid problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Autonomous, strong ownership, proactivity and drive to get things done
• Eagerness to learn, and adaptability to changes

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ETL, and large-scale data migration
• Hands‑on experience working in a cloud environment
• Java knowledge/ experience
• Agile knowledge/ experience
• Azure Databricks knowledge/ experience
• Docker knowledge/ experience
• ITIL methodology familiarity
• ISTQB/ AWS/ Microsoft Azure certificates
• AI testing knowledge/ experience (ML models basic knowledge, ML models testing technics, data analysis, testing experience of systems based on LLM, OpenAI, UI Path etc.)
• Experience in working in multinational environment
