Tower Research Capital, une société de négociation à haute fréquence pour compte propre fondée en 1998, est à la recherche d’un développeur des opérations commerciales pour se joindre à l’une de nos équipes de négociation.
Responsabilités
- Surveiller les négociations en direct à volume élevé et le risque lié au portefeuille
- Contribuer au code base des opérations de négociation automatisées
- Gérer les projets en cours avec diverses équipes de soutien de Tower
- Coordonner les mises à niveau logicielles et matérielles
- Appliquer des solutions programmatiques pour mettre à l’échelle et étendre les opérations de négociation
- Résoudre les écarts par rapport aux positions de négociation, aux relevés des courtiers et aux demandes internes
Compétences
- Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans une discipline connexe
- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans un domaine connexe
- Solides compétences en développement de logiciels dans Python
- Connaissance pratique du système d’exploitation Linux
- Capacités d’analyse exceptionnelles, solides compétences en communication et expérience dans la prise de décisions stratégiques fondées sur les données
- Solide connaissance pratique des applications de rapport sur les résultats et les risques
- Connaissance de la structure actuelle du marché et des développements réglementaires
- Capacité à comprendre et à diagnostiquer les problèmes dans des systèmes complexes en temps réel avec un minimum de conseils
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en tant que membre d’une équipe
- Excellente compréhension de la technologie de négociation et maîtrise des concepts techniques
- Capacité à gérer et à hiérarchiser plusieurs projets dans un environnement dynamique
- Solides aptitudes en résolution de problèmes

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Trade Operations Engineer to join one of our trading teams in Montreal.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk
- Contributing to the automated trading operations codebase
- Managing ongoing projects with various Tower support teams
- Coordinating software and hardware upgrades
- Applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations
- Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
- Strong software development skills in Python
- Working knowledge of Linux operating system
- Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communications skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions
- Strong working knowledge of PNL and Risk reporting applications
- Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments
- Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minimal guidance
- Capacity to work equally well independently and as a member of a team
- Strong understanding of trading technology and fluency in technical concepts
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
