Job Mission
Operational Planning is responsible for scheduling and monitoring the production plan for a particular work center, ensuring that all logistic requirements are fulfilled on time by coordinating with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Engineering.
Job Description
- Responsible for the planning, monitoring and adjusting production work orders so agreed MRP plan requirements are realized with optimized work-in-progress and stock levels.
- Coordinate with KF Planner and Service Event Planner for China Demand Support and adjust Build Plan.
- Scheduling raw materials delivery and set internal build, testing and reclaim plan to meet central demand plan.
- Manages manufacturing work orders to drive weekly build schedule to released configurations.
- Take care of bonded goods import and export process and conduct customs clearance through contracted customs companies.
- Analyzes and reports material shortages and impacts to ship schedule.
- Recommends reclaim forecast adjustments based on actual performance.
- Coordinating production workflow for multiple products - Inventory control for stock materials and ensure that material transactions are done accurately
- Monitoring part structures (BoMs and Routes) for errors and initiating corrections.
- Determining raw materials needed and manage stock levels to meet production demand.
- Manage flow of incoming and outgoing material from suppliers to deliver on time.
- Perform cycle counts and variance investigations in line with the company count policy and calendar.
- Assist with set up of new suppliers and new part numbers within planning parameters.
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Drives allocation decisions using impact analysis with Materials, Manufacturing, and/or Program Management.
- Manages scrap or rework activities resulting from engineering change orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor Degree or above
Experience
- 5~8 years of experience in planning or inventory control role
or factory planning in manufacturing environment
Bonded factory or warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle (ERP.MRP in the production)
- Experience with of Microsoft tools, especially Outlook, Teams, Excel and Power Point
- Experience in stakeholder management and driving change
- Knowledge and understanding of the following theories: APICS CPIM, MRP, JIT, Kanban and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience in the areas of cycle time reduction, process flow and cost optimization

- Good Excel skills including the ability to work with extremely large data sets, Pivot Tables and v lookups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Korean and English
- Team player with good social skills who is able to achieve personal and team goals
- Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer-relationship building
- Assertive and pro-active attitude in order to prevent and solve issues on time
- Self-reliant planner who shows ownership, can make decisions, and escalates when necessary
- Good time management skills with the ability to recognize priorities
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new information or skills
