Cyber & Audit Lead Summary: Leads security by integrating controls across development and operations, monitoring vulnerabilities, protecting system data, and supporting compliance across environments and delivery pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or CRISC, DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level III certification.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity for DoD systems.
- Demonstrated experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to achieve/maintain an ATO.
- Experience with DoD IL5/IL6 security controls, SIPR/IL6 environments, vulnerability management, and managing cleared personnel in a cleared facility.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity controls in enterprise systems
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, security monitoring, access controls, and secure pipeline practices
- Ability to assess risks, support incident response, and coordinate with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams
- Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal security requirements, eMASS coordination, IL5/IL6 environments, low-code platforms, and compliance support for mission systems is strongly desired
- Appian-based solutions in federal or regulated environments strongly preferred
