Technical Support Engineer
Key Role:
Work with an application being developed and supported on the contract. Develop documents for IT applications, system specifications, and test plans according to existing standards and methodologies. Perform and manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client and server based. Assist with the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Plan, monitor, and assist users in accessing and using business systems. Translate business needs, processes, and procedures into a workable system and articulate specific sof tware requirements by communicating these requirements with te chn ology experts and business stakeholders. Work closely with business architects and other te chn ology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with system administration
- Ability to address questions in a proactive manner, document issues, and work in a team environment to relay those items into new requirements
- TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Asso cia te's degree
- Ability to work in a team environment and share information and expertise
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree a plus
