National Team-Engineering (NT-E) is MDA's one-stop shop for systems engineering reach-back into the major companies that build the essential elements of the MDS.

Systems Engineers on the National Team are helping to drive the future systems that will protect the United States, its friends and allies for generations to come.

The National Team has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to perform the following tasks in Huntsville, Alabama:• Establish and administer a Cameo Enterprise Architect ecosystem, integrated with DOORS to enable a model-based systems engineering environment in support of requirements development for the Missile Defense Agency• Provide day-to-day administrative functions necessary to establish an initial instantiation of a Cameo ecosystem, integrate with DOORS and develop custom reporting and scripting to generate program-identified collaboration products and artifacts• Individual will adhere to the Program Configuration Management Plan for the DOORS and Cameo tools, enabling multiple users to share the Technical Baseline data, while maintaining strict access control and data integrity• Duties include development or update of schema needed for multiple users, configuration control of requirement/interface/architecture baseline products, generation of reports/artifacts from the tool, preparation of deliverables to customer, managing user access, conducting user training, documenting/updating process as well as procedural guides & checklists, supporting engineering design tasks; customizing the tool as needed, executing upgrades, and troubleshooting problems• Contributes to publishing change notices to the Missile Defense system specification and update of requirements databases and interface definitions

Basic Qualifications

*Must currently have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position*

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

- Experience using and maintaining system engineering tools and processes

- Experience supporting a DoD program

- Must demonstrate hands-on experience administering Cameo and DOORS toolsets

- Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment

- Individual must possess good communication skills.

Desired skills

National Team employees may have the opportunity to work on a variety of specialized projects based on their backgrounds.

The following skills are desirable, but not required. If you have experience in any of the topics listed below, please note them on your resume.

Experience using one or more of the following common MBSE tools:

DOORS, UNICOM System Architect, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, etc.

- Experience using and maintaining system engineering tools and processes

- Experience with code manipulation using DXL or VBA script usage within DOORS is a plus

- Experience working within a complex system-of-systems requirements environment for missile defense applications or similar domains (air combat, air defense, intercept of ballistic targets, intercept of non-ballistic targets, space vehicles, sub-orbital mechanics, etc.) or other complex Department of Defense programs

- Experience with systems engineering design and specification documentation is desired

- Good verbal and written communication skills

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $97,500 - $162,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
