The MITRE Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Program, N260, seeks a Lead MDA Embedded Security Engineer who can deliver expertise to the MDA Sponsor. The MDA Technology Protection Team ensures reliable and effective Anti-Tamper (AT) measures are affordably integrated into weapon systems exposed to reverse engineering opportunities such as battlefield loss and foreign military sales.

We seek an experienced technical leader and a critical thinker with deep technical skills and a demonstrated track record of fostering, promoting, and fielding innovative ideas and solutions. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include:

• Work in concert the MDA Sponsor, you will act as a technical advisor and serve as a member of the MDA Anti-Tamper Evaluation Team (ATET)
• Identify and definitize reverse engineering targets, provisos, and the drivers for AT Technologies
• Evaluate Anti-Tamper Objective Evidence
• Conduct AT engineering analysis and provide guidance to support the MDA Anti-Tamper Technical Agent (ATTA) and decision-makers
• Provide technical recommendations to government and contractor system security engineers

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related technical degree
• TS/SCI or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance access
• Experience in vulnerability research, implant development, exploit development, technology security testing, or technology security design evaluation
• 7-10 relevant work experience
• Must be familiar with Anti-Tamper Technology, Techniques, Processes, and Export Control Policy
• Must have Systems Engineering process and Integration Experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

PreferredQualifications:

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related technical degree
• Experience in reverse engineering, anti-Tamper, technology protection, materiel exploitation, and/or technology security research
• Expertise in low observable/counter low-observable technologies, hardware and software reverse engineering and anti-tamper techniques, anti-tamper sustainment implications
• Anti-tamper certification(s)
• Active TS/SCI/SAR clearance
• Depth of understanding of the Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and elements
