About the team
The Authorization Services – Unix team supports and manages an application called BoKS which manages security for Unix servers that allows control of access and authorization centrally rather than locally. Our team is comprised of security analysts with Unix backgrounds who configure our application to allow specific access for users and service accounts, working with internal customers to integrate their Unix servers into BoKS.
What you will be doing
- You will be working closely with our internal customers to determine their access needs
- You will be creating the necessary configurations in BoKS to allow the access
- You will be supporting our internal customers by assisting them with access issues and troubleshooting.
- You will be activating servers into BoKS
- You may need to take on-call shifts or work off hours at time to accommodate change windows
What you bring:
- You bring strong knowledge of Unix systems
- You bring experience with an overall security mindset
- You bring strong communication skills to work with our customers and team members
- You bring a strong drive to push through roadblocks to quickly complete needed tasks.
Added bonus if you have:
- Prior knowledge of the authorization and access tool called BoKS
- Prior knowledge of the authorization and access tool called Power Broker
- Deep Unix administrator experience
- Knowledge of networking and firewall complexities
