Job Description:
The IT Asset Manager is responsible for the daily and long-term strategic lifecycle management of IT assets throughout the organization. This includes planning, acquiring, deployment, management, and retirement of hardware and software assets to ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and third party contracts. The individual will also be responsible for periodic audits (internal and external), procurement and procurement strategies, and physical security of hardware assets.

What you'll own:

  • The end-to-end process for managing the lifecycle of IT assets
  • IT asset management tool functionality
  • Regular inventory and audit of laptops and software licenses


Experience you'll need:

  • 3 years of experience in IT at an enterprise environment
  • 1-2 years of experience managing IT equipment and licenses
  • IAITAM Certification preferred
  • Acute awareness of the Asset Management Lifecycle
  • Extensive knowledge of technologies supporting asset management processes
  • In-depth knowledge of CMDB relationships in an ITSM platform, especially ServiceNow
  • Have understanding and working knowledge of ITIL principles and practices
  • Knowledge and experience in the following technologies: ServiceNow, Google Workspace (GSuite), Microsoft Licensing, Apple Device Management, Workspace One/Airwatch, PC/laptop hardware, and software delivery
  • Knowledge of physical security, control, and auditing
