Job Description
The Fluid Dynamics Senior Specialist will employ expertise in a broad range of technical disciplines such as aquatic vertebrate and invertebrate respiration, fluid dynamics, materials science, mechanical design, applied physics, statistics, behavior of dissolved gasses, and computer modelling (e.g., computer-aided design; CAD) to evaluate, improve, and conduct value engineering in support of Aquatic Gas Optimization (AGO) products.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage complex product evaluations requiring excellent experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis culminating in product improvement strategies and implementation plans. Exceptional project management skills will be required to specify resources and timelines, create and manage budgets, develop and sequence prototype infrastructure tests, and communicate design specifications to third-party fabrication facilities.
Background & Education:

• B.S. in mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline;
• B.S. in aquatic biology and 10 years applied experience, M.S. or 5 years applied experience, or PhD; and
• evidence of applied proficiencies in fish respiration physiology and fluid dynamics mathematics.
