We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications with exceptional communication and organizational skills. 

A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment using data, facts, and technical skills to help identify risks, manage internal and external resources, and solve problems quickly and effectively. A strong team ethic with the ability to interact at all levels and across departments. This team member will work cross functionally with department stakeholders to ensure correct technical work streams are executed and secured. This individual will have deep solution architecture experience as well as an understanding of emerging technical trends and innovation. They must have a strategic thought process, strong business awareness, and technical know-how to execute solutions. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of ERP, CRM and HRIS systems, security, and architectural patterns to drive business and IT objectives in a dynamic, high growth environment. 

Location:

This role can be based out of either of our San Francisco or Redwood City office locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees IT Enterprise Applications that includes ERP, CRM, HRIS, other applications, support analysts, and running implementation projects.
  • Partner closely with the security team to ensure current and future state enterprise architecture is aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on Project Management of all the Enterprise Application projects tasks and activities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints to achieve business objectives and document solution architecture involving CRM and ERP.
  • Design reference architectures, systems and/or processes that provide efficient, effective solutions for diverse, complex problems.
  • Runs ITIL based application support with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Planning and budgeting of IT enterprise application needs, and expansions based on business plans.
  • Confers with technical or functional experts at all levels, company-wide, to obtain requirements, develop solution proposals, and coordinate implementation.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities that will support business goals and provide users with alternatives that enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluates user requests for enhancements and/or upgrading of business process systems.
  • Actively develops, promotes, and applies new features to streamline applications.
  • Actively surveys internal customers for feedback and adjusts activities accordingly.
  • Manages, sets priorities of, and successfully completes multiple projects and support issues concurrently with little or no supervision of the work group manager.
  • Understand business drivers and business capabilities (current and future state) and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and changes required to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes
  • Manage a team specializing in CRM, ERP and HRIS platforms
  • Provide career guidance and retention while promoting company culture
  • Participate as an integral member of the IT leadership team responsible for defining and implementing IT strategy and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Keeps current on new technologies by reading literature, attending conferences and seminars, taking classes, and participating in technical societies, as appropriate.

Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant acumen.
  • 8+ years experience in fast paced IT environments and/or consulting experience
  • Requires thorough understanding of planning, analysis, and testing techniques required to support an Enterprise Application system.
  • Requires technical efficiency and thorough knowledge of ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce), HRIS (UltiPro) systems
  • Proven track record of success using architecture and automation to adapt to changing needs
  • Experience with full life cycle delivery of large complex existing and new systems
  • Demonstrated experience in aligning stakeholders, building consensus, and driving change at scale.
  • Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical leaders
  • Demonstrated ability developing enterprise architecture models and strategic roadmaps, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven leadership in building teams, guiding career development, and technical assessments
