As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design a diverse set of cybersecurity solutions in support of defending our nation's critical infrastructure and federal assets. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize large scale cybersecurity systems. You'll develop your skills in identity and access management, data protection, endpoint detection and response, advanced cyber analytics, and more while gaining experience in national cyber defense. Grow your skills by merging system administration and cyber architecture and engineering design to create zero trust architectures and solutions. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:
- Experience with installing and configuring Windows domains
- Experience with setting up virtual infrastructure using VMware ESXI
- Experience with setting up and configuring Linux servers
- Experience with hardening Windows servers, Linux servers, and VMware using DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Experience with analyzing network traffic with tools, including Wireshark or TCPDump
- Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities
- Ability to depict network diagrams using Microsoft Visio accurately
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with implementing solutions in classified spaces
- Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
- Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the US government
- Knowledge of CSfC capability packages
- Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently, as identified
- Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
- Master's degree
- VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, or Security+ certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
