GDIT is looking for Cyber Subject Matter Expert in the greater Miami, Florida area. Must hold active DOD Interim Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Primary Responsibilities for Cyber SME:
- Perform a broad range of Cyber-related tasks elated to development and integration, assessment and management of system architecture, system design, risk reduction, implementation and integration, including personnel, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment for Cyber systems.
- The scope of tasks includes, but is not limited to, software engineering/development, system engineering, collection, computer science, communications, networks, program management, and technical assistance.
- Shall serve as an expert on projects for customers and project teams, provide senior guidance and support to development teams on technical and programmatic requirements, and support requirements analysis and derivation tasks.
- Conduct technical studies, analyses, and evaluations to improve organizational knowledge of doctrine, organizational effectiveness, training, leadership, contractor personnel status, and gaps.
- Advise on viability of alternative approaches.
- Conduct extensive interaction and maintain working relationships among various representatives across AO Uniform (e.g. military services, other government agencies, partner nations and vendors).

Desired Certifications
- CCNA or MCSA
- CYSA+, GCIA, or GCIH or CISSP
Desired Experience:
- 8-10+ years' experience with a variety of boundary protection, network and cyber analysis tools and technologies as listed below.
- Q-Radar
- CISCO SOURCEFIRE (IDS)
- CISCO ASA Firewalls
- Tipping Point (IPS)
- Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS)
- ArcSight
- Blue Coat Web Proxy
- Windows Event Logs
- PowerShell
- PCAP analysis
Education Requirements: Higher Education Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Network Defense, or related field; or commensurate level of experience based on position level (Associate, Journeyman, Senior, etc). Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
