Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current security systems and practices against NIST CSF requirements.
- Develop gap analysis documentationPrioritize updates to security policies and procedures to align with NIST CSF.
- Assist with the implementation of security controls based on framework requirements.
- Develop automation for implemented security controls.
- Create compliance tracking documentation.
- Prepare executive summary reports on improvements and future roadmap.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- A minimum of 2.5 GPA.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 10-20 hours a week.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Must reside in the Continental US, preferably within the state of Maryland.
