Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Cybersecurity Technical Lead to safeguard our organization's digital assets, cloud environments, and sensitive customer data. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), you will bridge the gap between security engineering, product teams, and business stakeholders, driving continuous improvements in our overarching security posture and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations & Incident Response: Lead root-cause analysis and containment efforts during security events or breaches. Monitor SIEM tools, validate security alerts, and spearhead threat hunting initiatives.
- Cloud & Application Security: Drive security compliance across cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SaaS architectures. Perform threat modeling and vulnerability management across SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Pre-Sales & Stakeholder Assurance: Collaborate with customer-facing teams (Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success) to respond to RFPs, complete detailed security questionnaires, and conduct contract reviews (MSA, DPA, BAA).
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure organizational adherence to security and privacy frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and DPDP. Conduct periodic infosec audits and manage third-party risk.
- Mentorship & Strategy: Mentor junior SOC and security analysts, upskilling their technical knowledge and helping refine organizational defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of full-time professional experience in Information Security, Security Operations, or Security Architecture.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with SIEM/EDR tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, QRadar), cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Certifications: Highly preferred to hold advanced industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CEH.
