We operate in a highly secure and dynamic environment, where our work directly impacts large-scale and complex defense projects. We are currently focusing on bringing in an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer, and this role will be pivotal in helping us achieve our team's goals.
Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to play a key role
in operating, integrating, and leading security solutions across the organization. This position involves deep hands-on work in tech-rich environments, end-to-end ownership of enterprise-grade security solutions, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations integration: deployment, configuration, tuning, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions across On-Premises and Enterprise environments (Firewalls, WAF, PAM/PIM, NAC, Endpoint Security, and Database Security).
  • Threat detection & remediation: defining SIEM/XDR rules, analytics, and detection logic, as well as driving remediation plans based on penetration testing (PT) findings and risk assessments.
  • Vendor & technology management: managing day-to-day interfaces with security vendors, leading Tier-3 troubleshooting, and managing complex integrations.
  • Guidance & support: providing technical leadership, guidance, and advanced escalation support to internal SOC and NOC teams.
  • Innovation & research: continuously researching, evaluating (POCs), and implementing new security tools and industry methodologies.

Basic Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience operating and deploying at least 2 of the following: Firewalls, WAF, PAM/PIM, NAC, Endpoint Security, and Database Security.

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering, OR background in a military technology unit, OR equivalent industry experience.

  • A mandatory formal cybersecurity certification.

  • Willingness to undergo a Level 2 Security Clearance process.

  • High self-learning capability, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong team-player mindset.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • An active Level 2 Security Clearance.

  • Hands-on experience with solutions from Fortinet, Symantec, or Imperva.

  • Deep knowledge of SIEM rule writing, analytics, and playbook creation.

  • Recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or official vendor certifications.

  • Experience in high-security, heavily compliant environments.

Location: Beer Sheva area.
