AGE Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, you will support the design, development and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This position requires expertise in an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage RMF processes
- Help design and maintain secure systems
- Monitor and respond to security events as needed
- Develop and enforce security policies
- Support security program management.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ten (10) years of general experience with at least 5 years in Computer Science or related engineering field
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance
- DoD 8140 Role and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II+ or Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ Certification (i.e. CISSP, SecurityX, Security+ etc)
- Demonstrated expertise in RMF/IA with a particular focus and knowledge on cloud technologies and cloud deployments
- Knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and A&A processes
- Experience preparing and maintaining RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, POA&M)
- Knowledge of secure system and network architecture design
- Experience with system hardening and compliance with DISA STIGs
- Experience with personnel and industrial security management (clearances, access control)
- Experience with security training, awareness, and briefings
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation: $125,000 - $140,000
This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
