Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I - UAE National Only

As a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I, you will work with the Honeywell Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) team to support cybersecurity solution development, product testing, lab validation, technical documentation, and cybersecurity engineering activities. This role is designed for early-career cybersecurity professionals who are interested in developing expertise in industrial cybersecurity technologies and Honeywell cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities

· Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities for Honeywell cybersecurity products and solutions.

· Assist in maintaining and operating the Cyber COE cybersecurity lab environment.

· Participate in proof-of-concept (POC), product demonstration, and solution validation activities.

· Assist with cybersecurity assessments, system reviews, and risk evaluation activities.

· Support technical documentation, test reports, procedures, and knowledge articles.

· Perform basic cybersecurity analysis and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

· Participate in the evaluation of new cybersecurity tools, technologies, and product features.

· Collaborate with engineering, development, and project teams on assigned activities.

· Assist in the development and testing of cybersecurity-related scripts and automation tools.

· Continuously expand knowledge of Honeywell cybersecurity products and industrial cybersecurity technologies.

· Support internal training, workshops, and technology demonstrations as required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

· 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical fields

· Fresh graduates with strong cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on project experience may also be considered

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability management, or system hardening concepts.

• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a collaborative environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Good documentation and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks
