The CWMD Strategic Planner will lead and conduct strategic planning and coordination across the full range of DoD and USSOCOM CWMD planning efforts. The CWMD Strategic Planner will assist in organization and synchronization across the USSOCOM CWMD enterprise including support to partners and enablers to meet defined organizational end states. They will build content and structure for a portion of the releasable strategic plan that supports the CWMD planning and synchronization campaign execution. They will lead, facilitate and support the CWMD SPP, SOFCIDS, SOCREB, and JIPOE to conduct operating environment analysis and end states development. The CWMD Strategic Planner will work with intelligence analysts to ensure an accurate depiction of the global WMD environment.

Required qualifications/experience:

  • Possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • Possess a minimum of five years’ experience involved with CWMD activities, including their strategic planning process policies, practices, capabilities, and organizational relationships.
  • Possess a minimum of five years’ experience in conducting operational environment analysis and end state development in support of GCC level activities.
  • Possess a minimum of five years’ experience in the Joint Planning Process, Joint Planning and Execution community processes.

Desired qualifications/experience:

  • Possess a certification of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), or equivalent.
  • Possess a minimum of five years’ experience working with SOF organizations or doctrine.
