Job Responsibilities:
Job Description Summary:
Supervise and manage the cutting department staff and operations.
Ensure precise execution of cutting patterns to minimize material waste.
Plan and monitor cutting schedules to meet production deadlines.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve technical issues.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial cutting machines and materials.
Familiarity with quality systems and root-cause analysis methods.
Good communication and leadership skills to drive change on the shop floor.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused.
Ability to work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
Familiarity with CAD softwares.
Required Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in garment cutting operations.
Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
Strong understanding of fabric types and cutting techniques.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
