Arrive Logistics is the fastest growing freight brokerage in the United States. As a freight brokerage, we operate as a middleman between Shippers and Trucking Companies. We connect these Shippers with the Trucking Companies who can transport their freight across North America, and then we manage everything behind the scenes. 


What is a Coverage Specialist? 

Coverage Specialists focus on booking “hot shipments.” These are shipments that need to be sold to a trucking company ASAP. This is an Entry-Level position at Arrive. It is a 60 day temporary position, during which the goal will be to transition you to a permanent Carrier Sales role pending your performance. This an awesome opportunity to get your foot in the door and make a long term career in Sales! 


If you desire a career in sales, but don’t have the experience, this position is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn the business in our one-week training program, designed to get you ramped quickly & effectively.
  • Get on the phone! This is a high-volume role, so be prepared for lots of outbound calls to carriers across the country.
  • Secure coverage of “hot shipments” by selling shipments over the phone to carriers who meet our strict requirements.
  • Problem-solve through issues that occur during transit.
  • Communicate internally with our customer sales team & keep them updated on the status of their customers’ shipments. You are their point of contact for all tracking updates!

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work-ethic in a high volume setting.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written).
  • An LFG attitude - once you meet us, you’ll see what we means
  • Have the ability to be onsite Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Building future success through a hands-on approach
When it comes to Seiji Osawa’s journey at Arrive, one factor has continuously fueled his growth: transparency. “At every point in my career, I was given the opportunity to expand my comfort zone and innovate new initiatives,” he said. By learning from his manager what it meant to build client relationships through boots-on-the-ground fundamentals, Osawa has been able to teach those same essential hands-on skills as he has risen through the ranks. “That is why I am in the seat I am today, to build a framework for teams that can elevate Arrive to its next billion, and beyond!”

Charting the course to innovation
Ashley Menger is working on building a journey map of all of the people, software and business processes from lead generation to payment. “It’s a map I wish I had when I started — I slowly gained this information over time, but needed a way to pass it on to my team,” she said. Being able to better identify efficiencies in their data grants her department the additional time to host an annual Hack Week, where employees stop all sprint work and tackle projects that will impact workflow. “The more we know about current and future strategy, the more our designs can deliver in the present.”

We support a shadowing program where any designer can spend an hour per week with someone in our logistics operations, watching how they use the software and learning more about their daily tasks.

When she isn’t leading an in-depth training experience or teaching new hires the complexities of being a broker, Mach is most likely praising Arrive’s dynamic to her friends. “There are so many opportunities to shape the culture,” she said. One way is supporting co-workers through the Women in Logistics ERG. “It’s something that gives exposure to minorities in the transportation industry, and shows them how they can grow in a space where they might not see many people like them.” To Mach, helping unlock every employee’s potential is embedded in Arrive’s culture of learning.
