The Role

Customer Success Manager – Bucharest, Romania

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our Bucharest-based team. In this role, you will support our trading and financial services clients across Central and Eastern Europe, helping them realize the full value of LSEG solutions. Your work will focus on fostering strong client relationships, ensuring seamless integration of our offerings into their workflows, and contributing to long-term client satisfaction and retention.

As a CSM, you will collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Leaders to align client needs with our strategic goals. Your ability to understand client challenges and translate them into actionable insights will be key in shaping both our customer engagement and product development efforts.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will involve developing and executing customer success strategies that promote adoption and retention. You will lead tailored client engagements through various formats, including virtual meetings, training sessions, and digital content. By monitoring product usage and client feedback, you will proactively identify areas for improvement, mitigate potential risks, and support growth opportunities.

You will also serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that customer perspectives are reflected in our product and service enhancements. Participation in industry events and collaboration with cross-functional teams will further support your efforts to deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients.

Success Indicators

Success in this role is reflected in the strength of your client relationships, the effectiveness of your onboarding and engagement efforts, and your contributions to account growth and retention. Your ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvement will also play a vital role in enhancing our overall customer experience.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with a background in customer success, client relationship management, pre-sales, or trading — ideally within the financial services sector. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences, including senior executives.

You should be comfortable analyzing client needs, navigating complex challenges, and working collaboratively in a fast-evolving environment.

Fluency in English and Romanian is required.

A degree in Financial Markets, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with domains such as Trading, Investment Banking, Commodities & Energy, Wealth Management, or Digital Marketing will be beneficial.
