This is an afternoon/evening shift. The shift will begin between 11AM and 12PM EST, and will end at 8PM EST.
Applicants must be local to Dublin/Columbus, Ohio. This is a hybrid role.
YOUR ROLE
As the primary pilot of our software product, the Customer Success Advocate is the focal point of where technology meets the human touch at Bold Penguin. The Customer Success Advocate is an expert for every business owner that comes through our platform via phone calls. There are thousands of different kinds of businesses, all with different risks, and it is the core responsibility of this role to help each customer figure out how to categorize their business, guide them through our process, and then use our technology to connect them with the best agent possible for them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Utilize Bold Penguin's software to create the perfect match between our customers and carriers, every single time!
  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist small business owners from all over the country in completing their applications for small business insurance.
  • Be compliant with company policies regarding our internal "Do Not Call" list.
  • Communicate and multitask effectively. Contribute to a high-energy, positive environment.
  • Ensure all application information is complete and accurate.
  • Provide answers to any questions the business owners may have.
  • Become an expert in business categorizing utilizing industry codes known as North American Industry Classification System (NAICS codes).
  • Build and foster business relationships and work directly with our partners, and insurance agents.
  • Coachable attitude with a passion for learning.
  • Adapt to new processes and technologies as they are developed and deployed.
  • Take part in trainings, department meetings, and other employee engagement activities
  • Be creative and inventive. Help identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to processes
  • Contribute to a high-energy, positive environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have home internet speeds of a minimum of 30 MBPS Download & 20 MBPS Upload and a distraction-free home office to work from.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume call center or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Highest level of work ethic.
  • Dependability is of the utmost importance. The whole team counts on each other.
  • Ability to drive and carry a conversation.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Coachable attitude with a passion for learning.
  • Communicate and multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the corporate office.

The expected starting rate for this role at Bold Penguin is $23.00/hour.
