We are looking for a highly motivated Customer SW Integration Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies and products, from conception to deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Software Integration: Integrate various software modules and versions developed by our teams, ensuring the final product meets the specific requirements of different tiers.
  • Manage technical integrations, and foster developer/business relationships within the Sonatus team worldwide, and with customers
  • Act as a portal for technical communication between outside developers and our product teams
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise during the software integration process, ensuring a smooth and reliable software system.
  • Provide integration support for our customers, remotely and on site
  • Manage high severity incidents independently until resolution
  • Build & Deployment Management: Develop and manage automated build pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery using tools like Jenkins, etc.
  • Version Control & Release Management: Oversee the version control of software using Git or similar systems, ensuring proper branch management, code merging, and conflict resolution.
  • Contribute to all reports necessary to prepare a software release.
  • Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure quick and reliable software updates and releases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, technical program managers, and external companies to ensure timely delivery and high-quality integration of software components.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of integrated systems, addressing any bottlenecks and ensuring the software runs efficiently.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to the integration process, build systems, deployment configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields with two or more years of working experience in data centers, networking, security, or the automotive industry. MS preferred.
  • Familiar with CMake or similar large-scale C and C++ build systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms(e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Experience with CodeBeamer, Jama, or other ALM tools is a plus
  • Proficient in shell scripting and Python.
  • Good working knowledge of git.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Work well under stress

Desired Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience with the Linux boot sequence.
  • Experience with bootloaders, Linux, and microcontroller image flashing.
