Job Description

Travel Requirements:

  • This position will require business travel, at an estimated 20% max. There may be the requirement to travel cross territories (when required) at short notice.
  • There will be a requirement for office working this role, Brussels based, approximately 3-4 days per week.

Position Summary:

This role reports to the Customer & Logistic Manager Europe and has close cooperation with Sales & Service to ensure strong coordination of all logistic activities. The role is responsible for managing all aspects of sales & service throughout our supply chain and providing support to our European/Local Sales & Service teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing purchase orders (Sales, Service & consumables)
  • Verifying orders, including customers' personal information and payment details.
  • Reporting any sales stock inventory issues to management.
  • Managing and maintaining sales, service & demo stocks.
  • Managing and maintaining pricing.
  • Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
  • Supporting service activities in offering service contract and preventive maintenance
  • Maintaining and updating sales, service and customer records via salesforce.
  • Compiling/supporting monthly sales & service reports.
  • Liaising with the logistics department to ensure timely delivery & visibility.
  • Supporting sales and service teams with demo and loaner assets logistic and managing contract follow-up, offers/quotes and set-up, coordinating this with the Field Service Engineers planning activity.
  • Placing orders for system stock, quarterly sales order, service order and consumables.
  • Expediting orders through internal liaison.
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments as appropriate.
  • Supporting sales & service with other administrative and ad-hoc tasks, as required and if requested.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or proven equivalent work experience.
  • Customer Service experience is required, international exposure preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Flexible and independent individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude.
  • Business proficiency in English is a must; additional European language is a strong plus.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, with ability to adapt in a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience with SalesForce or a similar system is preferred but not essential.
