As a Customer Retention Manager, you’ll own the customer renewal lifecycle and ensure high retention across assigned accounts. You'll act as the primary point of contact for renewals, coordinating internally with Sales, Support, Legal, and Finance to drive timely, value-aligned contract continuations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process, including outreach, negotiation, and execution.
- Proactively identify and mitigate churn risks, collaborating closely with Customer Success.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and reporting in CRM systems.
- Partner with Sales and Product to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during renewal cycles.
- Ensure pricing, licensing, and commercial terms are aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
- Support continuous improvement in the renewal playbook and retention strategy.
Success Metrics
- Renewal Rate / Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- On-time renewal execution.
- Customer satisfaction during the renewal process.
- Accuracy of renewal pipeline forecasting.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in B2B inside sales or sales development, ideally in a software/SaaS or deep-tech environment—experience selling embedded or technical solutions is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven success in exceeding quotas within a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
- Quick to master complex, technical product features and articulate value to diverse stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce.
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a cross-functional team; comfortable embracing a growth mindset.
- Prior experience of building and managing teams is seen as a bonus.
