About This RoleWe’re looking for a Kanga Customer Research Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Kanga, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to deliver teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. This internship is perfect for someone who is curious, creative, and a self-starter. You’ll get hands-on experience in gathering customer insights to strengthen product-market fit for our Saas Platform, Kanga – all while contributing to a mission driven organization that helps children with special needs.
What will you do during your internship at Presence?This project focuses on understanding user perspectives on our Saas platform’s (Kanga) value and deficiencies. It involves designing data collection methods, conducting research, and analyzing the findings to identify what would improve the user experience.
Project Goals
- Identify key user pain points and areas of dissatisfaction with the Kanga platform.
- Determine what features and improvements would significantly enhance the user experience and increase user satisfaction.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with remote team members to ensure clear communication and alignment, contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (Preferred majors in Business Management or Math/Statistics-related programs) with an anticipated graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Available to work up to 25 hours per week throughout the 8-week summer internship, running from June 16 to August 8.
- The schedule for this internship is M-F for 5 hours/day.
- Basic experience with research methodology.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Enthusiasm for remote work and “cameras on” collaboration.

This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $15–$20 per hour.
