Job Overview

This position is responsible for obtaining insurance benefits and authorization for out-patient procedures. You will work closely with physician offices to ensure scheduled procedures are authorized in a timely manner. This position requires strong communication skills, must be detailed and able to multitask. You must have basic math skills, and outstanding customer service.

Education and Experience

Completion of High School or GED is required. Two to four years' experience in a physician's office, hospital registration, collection agency, hospital or professional billing or training at an educational institution that includes medical billing.
